With the summer month coming here in Wichita, Kansas our little Lady Beetle friends start to come out. They are about 7mm long and tend to have a wide spectrum of colors. The colors range from yellow to orange to red. They have a varying number of spots as well.

Since the warmer months are here you are more likely to see them. Since in the fall they tend to gather in large numbers outside of light-colored houses. They try to find cracks or holes to get inside the house. They the hibernate through the winter and become active again in the spring.
